The love a puppy has for his / her person is unconditional and pure, without a tinge of discrimination. This is exactly what a man called Cody Leightenheimer experienced at work one fine day. When he was at work, he saw a puppy a little far away from him. This dying puppy walked to a stranger.
She was significantly malnourished and underweight. In fact, when examined more closely, the puppy, the puppy is the puppy. Poor health and neglect inhibited her development. She is really about 10 years old.
The little gal was deaf, had cataracts, was totally toothless, and was covered in fleas. The vet and staff went to work on her immediately.
Even though she had challenges, she was now in the best shape of her life. But the vet knew she likely didn’t have long to live. Life on the streets had destroyed her little body.
The man who found her told the vet that he would like to give the dog a gift. Since she had only known hardships, he wanted to give the dog the best final days imaginable. The man named the dog ‘Toothless’ like the dragon 🙂 They went home and developed a beautiful bond. They played dress up, went on adventures, and snuggled a lot.
Because toothless was well, toothless, she had to be spoonfed but her new dad and family didn’t mind one bit. Toothless got to play in the snow. And spend time enjoying herself as any dog should.
She even lived longer than the vet predicted.
Toothless died peacefully while sleeping in her beautiful home with her father next door. Although her new family wished they had more time with her, they knew that they had given her a wonderful unconditional love.

Friendly, Playful Pit Bull Put To Sleep Because Of “How He Looks”
An adorable dog was ordered to be put to sleep due to what the RSPCA called an ‘outdated and ineffective’ law.
Bailey, who was described as ‘gentle’ and ‘friendly’ by RSPCA chief veterinary officer Caroline Allen, was ordered to be destroyed by officials because of how he looks, and spent his final few hours playing with staff.
“We’re very disappointed that, despite the evidence from organizations such as ourselves, the UK Government still believes the prohibition of dogs like Bailey is necessary to protect public safety. This means friendly, loving dogs must legally be euthanized based on the way they look. We will keep up the fight to #EndBSL.”
An outdated and ineffective law is responsible for Bailey, a gentle, friendly dog, to be put to sleep. In the United Kingdom, breed-specific legislation exists, stating that certain breeds of dogs must be put down.
Ownership of the Pit Bull Terrier, Dog Argentino, Fila Braziliero, and Japanese Tosa is illegal and those breeds will be euthanized. Sadly, this means dogs are being killed due to their appearance or looks.
The animal welfare charity is now urging the government to rethink the law and instead introduce a new law that focuses on early intervention with dogs who are showing signs of ‘concerning behaviour’, whatever their breed. The charity is also hoping for a stronger emphasis on educating people, especially children and youngsters, on how to be safe around dogs.
RSPCA dog welfare expert Dr Sam Gaines, who was a lead author on a report about BSL, added: “Bailey’s story is heartbreaking and, sadly, it’s one I hear all too often.
“These are dogs who have shown no signs of aggressive behaviour and given no indications that they would be unsuitable for rehoming.
Marathon Runner Pauses To Rescue Stray Puppy
She ran 19 miles with the puppy — and that was just the beginning. Khemjira Klongsanun is a running enthusiast from Bangkok, Thailand. Though she enjoys racing in competitions, Klongsanun knows some things are more important than setting a record time.
Last week, Klongsanun was participating in a local marathon when something caught her eye. There, about 7 miles into the 26-mile run, she spotted a tiny puppy on the roadside with no owner or mother in sight.
It takes months of training and dedication to prepare for a marathon. Everyone else was simply running around the dog, focused on completing the race. Klongsanun stopped when she saw the puppy and decided to rescue him. The tiny puppy was afraid and took some coaxing to come over to her. Afraid that he would not survive living alone on the streets, she scooped him up and continued running the marathon.
She completed the remaining 19 miles carrying the little pup under her arm. The heartwarming moment was captured on video with fellow runners touched by the kind gesture. At one point, she held the puppy up so onlookers could see the adorable little guy.
It was a marathon that she and many others would never forget. She manages to complete the full marathon with the docile puppy. As if the young man knew he was safe and kept following it. She crossed the finish line holding the puppy.
After completing the race, she continued to adopt the little boy. She named him Chombueng, after the marathon she rescued him. At first, she tried to find the original owner, but when no one advanced, she adopted him.
Chombueng now has a loving home that he shares with two other canines. Klongsanun told DailyMail, “Running almost 20 miles carrying dog was truly a challenge. It was two times tiring than a normal marathon but I did it anyway just because he is adorable.”
She went on to say, “It might take a while for him to adapt himself. But Chombueng is a very smart boy. I’m sure he is going to be happy living with us.”
